Aresti villas were built in 1998 on the ruins of the old family mansion in a wonderful hillside position and in private land of 40.000 sq.m. that belongs to Stamiris family since 1928. The villas are situated within a large private land of olive groves and pine trees, bordered by eucalyptus trees and enclosed by stone walls. The villas are made predominantly from natural stone by local craftsmen while original pieces of the old mansion’s remains (stone work, headers) are reused in the buildings. They blend harmoniously into their natural surroundings, but the interiors - whilst paying homage to the traditional style of the island - are elegant, stylish and immensely comfortable. Thick wooden doors, windows and furnishings painted in vivid traditional colours add to the character of this unique property. Each villa’s swimming pool is of a good size, and thanks to the mature vegetation of the grounds each enjoys a good degree of privacy. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, meet the animals and enjoy wonderful walks around the fields. Children would love feeding the horse, sheep, chickens, goats and geese. With a charming little stone built church and large beautifully landscaped gardens, the ARESTI in Agios Dimitris is by far the most romantic, stylish and idyllic venue for your wedding.
