About This Venue

Leaving behind the beaches of Stafylos and Velani, a little before Agnontas, you will see a dirt track on your left, leading to Amarantos.

In reality, it is not one continuous beach, but small rocky gulfs, ideal for bathing and fishing.

Some of the scenes in the “Mamma mia” movie were shot at Amarantos.

The word Amarantos means eternal beauty in Greek. The ceremony is taking place right on the edge of the sea. Please note that the venue can comfortably fit up to 50 guests standing, however it is important to know that it is very difficult to be accessed, and it is not suitable if you have families with young children or elderly in your group.
